Style 8RS has a spring-loaded hex nipple. The transition from sheath
wire to insulated wire is contained in a smooth transition equal to the O.D. of
the sheath. A spring-loaded assembly is often used with a thermowell to ensure
contact of the RTD tip with the bottom of the thermowell. The flexible,
insulated lead is connected to a thermocouple head or a remote location. A
thermocouple head may be ordered as an option with this style. Maximum
temperature 500 Deg. F.
